Another WTF Moment...




So, the other day Mari and I saw an AT&T advertisement where an actor basically proclaims that AT&T's network is better than Verizon's but doesn't really give any evidence to support this claim. When it was over I wondered out loud why AT&T would spend their money on an advertisement like this. Do they really believe that this is going to convince anyone to buy their product? You would think that a company as large as AT&T would take the time to do the research in order to determine what channels and approaches would best sell their product to their target demographic.

Then Mari pointed out that they probably did do all the research and it told them that this was the best approach. Sometimes it is really scary living in this country.

Trust me, advertisements in developing countries I have visited are worse than just plain lying.
